Vintage 1950s Bradley Knit Cardigan Sweater Women's Size S or M 100% Zephyr Wool

Va va voom! Bradley brand, black, 100% zephyr wool cardigan with crocheted collar from the 1950s. Size is small, although sweater does have stretch and could work on a medium. Very cool buttons with iridescent centers. Sweater is in very good condition with one small hole near the seam, under the collar...not visible when collar is in place. Here's a little information about the Bradley brand's history: Bradley Knitting Company was started in Delavan, Wisconsin, in 1904. It was a major manufacturing facility, and that small town’s chief employer. During peak production, 1200 persons were employed at Bradley. Bradley made all kinds of knitted garments but are best remembered for their knit wool bathing suits. Their specialty was sportswear, and their slogan in the early years was “Slip into a Bradley and Out-of-Doors.” The Art Deco Bradley plant, built in 1923, is on the National Register of Historic Places.
