Vintage 1950s - 1960s era home sewn medium weight wool skirt. Two shades of red woven to create a rich texture and brick color. Features several darts at waist for shaping, asymmetrical pleat on right side at hemline, metal zipper and hook back closure (both in excellent working order and attached solidly), inner satiny lining for comfort. Good vintage condition. Inner lining is fully attached at waist band but partial piece approx 7” x 10” is missing at lower front left leg. Some tiny moth holes on back near hemline. Very well hidden due to texture and thickness of fabric, they have not broken through the full thickness of the fabric. This item has not been laundered or pressed, needs cleaning.
