Vintage 1940s Whiting & Davis Co. Alumesh Purse with Bakelite

A great vintage 1940's Whiting & Davis Co. Alumesh metal mesh purse, Celluloid and Bakelite in cream and white. Excellent vintage condition. Includes original mirror. This purse is made from the signature Alumesh metal mesh in all white. The purse's frame, clasp, and strap are made from Bakelite which has an ivory colored aged patina. The purse has one open side compartment on the interior in addition to the main compartment. This purse measures approximately 9-1/4" x 8-1/2" x 1". The perfect addition to your vintage wardrobe!
