Vintage 1940s Wesley Simpson Toile de Jouy Large Silk Scarf Pink & White 31”x32”

Beautiful, large, square - ish, vintage silk scarf with rolled hem is by celebrated design house Wesley Simpson Inc. This one is in the Toile de Jouy pattern in a deep, bright pink on a white background. The Metropolitan Museum of Art has the black and white version in their collection and dates it as 1948. Measures 31" wide x 32" tall. This is so lovely worn as a scarf as intended, but would also look wonderful hanging on the wall. I wish I had a place for it! No rips or holes. Colors are bright and vivid. There is some pale yellowing to the white areas, mostly around the middle area and upper left quadrant area. I tried to show this in the close up photos - the yellowing is light and hard to photograph. Nonsmoking home
