Vintage 1940s RED CROSS Volunteer Nurse UNIFORM Sm/med wwII military cosplay 40s

You guyyyyysss I almost died when I found this! Super rare, adorable nurse's uniform from the 1940s with its matching hat! This sweet blue striped nurse uniform features pearly shank buttons up the front, a collar, and pockets. Best details with patches and the original red cross pin. Shoulder epaulets and fitted shape. Estimated women's size small/medium. Thanks to the "Mercantile Uniforms" tag, we were able to date this as from 1942-47. In near pristine condition! Estimated size small/medium. MEASUREMENTS: Bust - 35.5 - 36.5 inches Waist - 30 inches Total Length - 39.25 inches (could let out 2 inches) Shoulders - 13.75 inches Label - Mercantile Uniforms New York size 10 material - cotton blend? - material is thick and sturdy but soft. Material will not stretch but has a tiny bit of give color - baby blue, white, red ♥ Estimated size small/medium. Dress is not clipped to fit our small model Lissa. For reference, Lissa is 5 foot 6, a size 6 and around 135 lbs. She has a JLo booty, lol. ♥ terrific vintage condition - like mint, near mint! You may be able to tell in the pic there was some discoloration on the back of the skirt, but we washed her (machine wash, no less!) and she came out like perffeccctt! No missing buttons, holes, snags, stains, etc. Just a few eensie pulls in the fabric on the right of the chest (probably from her name badge). Phenomenal find and piece of US history.
