Vintage 1940s “MOM” Rhinestone Brooch

Rare to find one of these that isn’t bent out is shape. Popular in the Victorian era in smaller versions. This one lived during the 40’s when rhinestones and all their flash were the poor man’s diamonds. Movie stars we’re having costume jewelry pieces produced to where to premiers instead of their own personal jewels. Many of the costume jewelry designers designed for the studios and the film industry so there was easy access to them by the stars. Measures 3 1/8 x 1”
