Vintage 1940s Dressing Cape

Wow this was one of my favorite finds that I’ve held onto and maintained. This is a 1940s evening cape that was worn over top of perhaps some lingerie. It is silk and beautiful and gorgeous. The bows bring it a touch of girlish fun. There is a bow that ties in the neck. The wrists are tapered and fastened with a button. Elegance, sophisticated, drama.
