Vintage 1940s Black Fur Coat

Incredibly soft, incredibly warm vintage fur coat. The coat is black with a black satin lining, embroidered with flowers. The coat was taken to a professional furrier in March 2023. $400 was spent on cleaning and a small repair, and the receipt is pictured and will be included. The coat was cleaned and glazed at that time, and a hole in the pocket was repaired. Lining is otherwise in beautiful condition. Coat is very heavy. I am 5’4” and it is large on me. I’d estimate it’s a size Medium, but has no tags. I have the sleeves cuffed but they can be worn with or without the cuff. Family lore is that it’s from the late 1930s, early 1940s. The furrier also suspected it is from the 1940s. Non smoking, no pets, no children home. Two issues are pictured- one at the sleeve, one on the back.
