Vintage cake stand or large torte plate. Company: Colony or Indiana Glass Pattern: Dogwood Color: "Cranberry" hand-stained with yellow centers Discontinued pattern; from the 1930s until 1948. There seems to be some confusion about the maker. This pattern, in the stained glass versions (such as this piece) was apparently originally an Indiana Glass mold (from the 30s and 40s) that was later used by Tiara Glass, which was owned by Lancaster Glass Co. (but only for solid-colored glassware). Replacements lists this as Colony. Elegant Era Glass Approximately 13" wide x 2" tall, with 5" wide base Crafted in the USA. Hefty- over 4lbs. Please view photos for condition. Of note: small spots/drips of pink from the flowers on the side of the stand.
