Vintage 1930’s floral print day dress

Here’s an exquisite 1930’s dress that I purchased at the Clignancourt flea market in Paris in the late 1980’s. The dress has a double breasted like closure with four buttons covered in the gorgeous floral print, which is also used at the Mandarin collar neck and edging the sleeves. The navy crepe fabric on top has some fading, especially under the arms, as well as a small hole in the front, and a couple of small snags in the fabric. There’s also a small hole in the floral skirt- see all pics for condition and ask questions. No label, but because it was purchased in France, I am calling it French. No lining or shoulder pads. Dress has a fairly straight up and down silhouette, as was the fashion. Dress measures about 50.5” from shoulder to hem on mannequin, and about 17.5” pit to pit laid flat. Waist/where fabric changes from navy crepe to floral measures about 15” across laid flat.
