Vintage 1930's Shaffer's Balance Fountain Pen and Pencil Set*Rare*

This is a 1930's era Shaffer balance fountain pen and pencil set. They are a grey pearl color with varying colors of light and dark striations. Shaffer did not make these balance pens after 1942. During my research they listed this set as "rare" and was included in the "most expensive Shaffer pens" section. This is a vacuum fill pen, not a cartridge pen. There is "Shaffer" marked on the pen clip. The tip of the pen is marked with "Shaffer's Lifetime Reg.U.S.Pat.Off. Made in U.S.A. 14K". They both measure approximately 5 inches long. They are a pre-owned pair and in good shape. You may find minor scratches on them. The pen clips work as they should. Please see pictures for more details on condition.
