trawpical_chica Hi! Do you think, if taken to a professional, this could be altered along the side seams to make is an xs? The fabric still looks pretty sturdy in the pictures and I see it says near perfect, I just wasn't sure in vintage if that would translate the same in terms of the fabric. Thank you!

gladsgatsby @trawpical_chica Hello, I appreciate your question. Here’s the thing, all the stitching on the seams and otherwise are hand done and with perfection in perfect form. Part of the amazingness in the slip is just that, the skillful talent. Any seamstress stressed today would not have the talent to match. I’d be willing to bet the farm on that, and effectively damage it. So, it wouldn’t be a good idea in my opinion. I am sorry to say!
