Vintage 1930s Black Silk Velvet Skirt, Asymmetrical Hem

Soft black silk velvet vintage skirt circa the 1930s. Wonderful slits up both sides that were sewn to give the bottom hem a slightly asymmetrical look and give some fun shape and movement when you walk. Grosgrain ribbon inside the waist band. Two hook and eye closures at the waist on the side followed by three snaps underneath down the hip. No label, most certainly homemade. Medium size, I'd say. Good to great vintage condition. There are three or four small pea sized holes and worn areas in the velvet. I did notice 2 areas on the side seams that have a bit of pulling maybe half an inch long if that. Those could easily be shored up and stabilized. Measurements when lying flat. Doubled at waist and hip.
