Vintage 1920s Hand Made Cotton House Dress

Original short sleeve hand made house dress in a black & white print cotton with blue accents. Sleeves cut as one with dress, with faux solid blue cuff. Edged in white rickrack. White rickrack outlines curved bodice seams. Loose gathers at front sides of drop waist. Patch pockets at hips Closes with 3 buttons at back. Attached blue cotton belt tie to adjust fit. This dress came from an estate of a Polish family that owned a store in Detroit going back to the 19-teens. The dress is a good example of working class, home made clothing.
