Vintage / Antique 1920s Fur Coat by Schwabe Fur House - Munich Pit to pit = about 20 - 21 inches Length = about 41 - 42 inches I would call it a size small to medium Golden beige cream tan with reddish brown collar Label: P.F.S. Pelzmode Haus Schwabe Munchen On Wikimedia Commons, I found a German advertisement from 1922 for The Schwabe Fur House in Munich. They were giving away a beautiful fur coat to the millionth visitor. This is what I based by dating guesstimate on. The lining is all hand sewn. The lining seams are coming apart in the right armpit and along the left edge (see photos), but it doesn't affect wearability, and it's kind of cool to peek inside and see the hand tailoring There is a small hole in the fur on the bottom left side, less than an inch long - see photos It doesn't smell weird The closures are really cool opening hooks and eyes Gorgeous German fur coat
