For your consideration is this absolutely lovely creamer exported from Japan most likely during the 1920s to 1930s. It is marked on the bottom "Made in Japan" in black. In Carole Bess White's book series Made In Japan Ceramics, this mark was not specific to any one particular company as it was a common mark used by nearly all ceramic companies in Japan at that time. I call this patten "Sweetheart Flowers" for the lovely hand painted floral motif inside of a heart. The creamer measures 3.3 inches in diameter x 3.5 inches tall. It is in good overall condition with no chips or cracks observed and the lustrous glaze is still crisp and clean. This would be a beautiful piece for your Valentine's Day or Anniversary tablescape.
