Information given by an appraiser goes as follows -- __ One 16 size Hamilton railroad approved pocket watch -- Hamilton Watch CO., Lancaster, PA serial #1076525. Movement is mechanical grade 972, 17 jewel, adjusted position, double roller, lever set. Porcelain dial with auxiliary second hand Open face Case and bezel are Crescent, warranted 25 years rolled gold, serial #2255404. Approximate date of manufacture - 1914 Appraisal Value: $1,250 ---- There is slight damage on the back as shown in the photos and it does need a new battery but otherwise, the item is in great condition! Does not include any chain, only the pocket watch itself.
