Vintage 14K Solid Gold Tear Drop Locket Pendant on Gold-Plated Chain Signed

This is a gorgeous pendant from an estate collection. It's a tear drop-shaped locket (it's deep enough it could also be used as a "poison" pendant or pillbox necklace for emergency medication, or as a perfume necklace to hold solid perfume). The locket is 14k yellow gold (solid gold, not plated). It has an etched design on the front, with an intricate frame. The back has a mirror-like shine, and it's signed "14K." The bail does have a maker's mark, but I'm unable to identify it. The locket measures 1.5" x 0.8" (includes the bail). The locket (by itself) weighs 6.49g. It has some minor scratches on the back and on the inside compartment. But it's a stunning piece, and beautiful when worn. The chain is not solid gold; it's gold plated. The necklace will come in a velvet gift box.
