sparklechick1 Hi! Can you provide more details on this? 10”? Do you mean 20”? Is it a real Ruby or lab created? Treated in any way? Same with the diamonds? So pretty!

mcanavan3 @sparklechick1 lol, I had two boys and have things for future girlfriends and engagements for them. I have a few family pieces I can not part with. My x and old boyfriends are up for grabs 🤣

mcanavan3 I have gotten a few pieces on Posh. 2 were as described but the others were not and listed as gold or silver but that was not true. I can not believe people do that. I won the cases but their sites are still up ugh. It makes people like me look bad. My things are real and have stories

sparklechick1 @mcanavan3 I know--I wish Posh would monitor stuff better, actually require truth in advertising. Don't call it leather if it's polyurethane, don't call it a diamond if it's moissanite or (god forbid) CZ, don't call it silver or gold if it's silver or gold "tone," and don't call it a "real" ruby/emerald etc. if it's lab-created or "filled' etc. Posh only certifies over $500, I believe, so it's buyer beware under that. Not fair at all.

mcanavan3 @sparklechick1 I agree ! I am so surprised they are still allowed to sell it as real still !!

sparklechick1 @mcanavan3 Like I said, Poshmark doesn't monitor. So unless someone complains, nothing happens. I always ask for pics of tags of "leather" jackets, etc. to be sure. Jewelry is harder.

sparklechick1 @mcanavan3 Can you give me measurements / weights of the stones? Do you know the details on the diamonds, providence on the ruby (Burmese, Indian, etc.)?
Nov 26Reply
sparklechick1
sparklechick1 @mcanavan3 Also, what does 10" mean? (is that half the chain length?)
Nov 26Reply
mcanavan3
mcanavan3 @sparklechick1 yes I did report it ! Unfortunately they are busy or just did not do anything! I always send the stamp and measurements. Size and about the jewels. I am going to a jeweler on Monday to have Cartier earrings authenticated and 3 rings . One 3 stone Diamond and two others just to double check quality size and weight and what gold they are in. I also have to weigh a Tennis bracelet for someone and have it Authenticated

sparklechick1 @mcanavan3 I reported a shifty situation as well, & all I’ve gotten so far is that it would be sent up the chain to the appropriate group. But since the person is still operating, so far nothing has been done. Sigh!

sparklechick1 @mcanavan3 Hi! Did you find out any more info on this necklace? I know you were recovering from your fall, so I wasn't sure if you made it to the jeweler yet or not. Thanks!

sparklechick1
sparklechick1 @mcanavan3 size of stones, anything re. the diamonds you can tell me (clarity, color), source of ruby (country of origin) —whatever you got😁

mcanavan3
mcanavan3 @sparklechick1 hi I bought this from my jeweler before he retired along with other pieces. I am sorry I did not ask about the origin of the jewelry I probably should have. The diamonds are small so I do not know if they can rate the clarity or quality, maybe size. And the Ruby size .
