Vintage Tonola Mexico art pottery bird vase. - Named after the city Tonalá in Mexico, Tonala pottery is a burnished or scented clay that uses Mexican soil and is known for its decorative details. - Attractive bird and floral design with gloss glaze highlights in blue, green and white. - "Mexico" and initials on maker on base - Good consition. One small crack on base at back noted - this seems to be a split whixh occurred during firing than later damage. Some small spots of discoloration (faint brownish patch) which also seems to be from handmade nature and materials used. Measurements: 10 3/4" x 6" x 6"
