bbedson I'm sorry the rise goes from the crotch to top of waist (you have only measured zipper) and the waist is laying flat with tape straight across (no bending)

bbedson Sorry I just need to see the measurement laying flat because that's what will determine if they will fit me across waist. I already bought in an 8 and they were way too big so I don't know if I need 6 or 8
