gigishopgirl @lamireille Hi, they're wedges. So the heel gradually gets taller as you move towards the back of the shoe. Like all heels, the height is measured from the floor to the highest point in the heel.

lamireille Hi (again)! I didn't ask my question very well! I was wondering whether these are platforms--that is, whether the sole at the front half of the foot is slightly thick, so that the heel doesn't actually feel as high as it actually is. It *kind* of looks like these might be platform wedges, but I can't tell for sure. I'm not explaining myself very well... sorry! And thanks so much for answering all my questions!
