fashionista_kim @illherm ok, so if you're a 38C in Victoria's Secret bras, then they call your sister size a bra that isn't your typical size but offers a very similar / if not almost the same fit. So the cups in a 38C bra are the same size as the ones in a 36D bra. That's because the band (38) is longer & the "C"cups in your case , seem to span a little wider along the width of the bra...

fashionista_kim @illherm typically your sister size would be one band size up and one cup size smaller ... or one band size down and one cup size bigger.. depending on how you wear your current band.. like if you wear your 38C bra on the loosest hook more comfortably (as opposed to the tightest hook), then you might be more comfy in a 40B. Another e.g. My size is 34D, but my sister size is 32DD .. I can't do the 36C sister size too much because it's usually a little too loose in the band 😊

If the bra has adjustable band straps , and you wear your 38C bra on the tightest band / hook , then you can wear a 36D ( you go down a band , up a cup size) . That goes for all Victoria's Secret bras with adjustable band hooks . They call it the sister size.

fashionista_kim @fit2be2016 hi, there's some padding throughout this one , but it's not a lot like the gorgeous/ or even the bombshell ( which has alotttt) . This design has the molded push up cup which provides a nice lift without the extra padding
