Victorian Style C1930 CLAP 1/10 14K Gold Filled Antique Floral Buckle Bracelet Faux buckle on top with side hinge and clasp with safety chain. Beautiful floral design in black. This is spotty and shows the gold, not black in many places. The inside is marked "CLAP 1/10 14K" The inside has three tiny dimples. One is just above the marking. There is some dark discoloring and scratches on the buckle and other. areas when looking closely. Overall though, it is in great condition for its age. The maker Clap, is believed to be Harvey Clap of D. & C. (Daggett & Clap). Daggett & Clap was established in August, 1882 by Harvey Clap and H. M. Daggett. In September, 1886, they moved to a new building in East Attle- borough, MA. During 1886 they melted nearly $10,000 worth of gold in the making of heavy gold filled pieces in a variety of ladies' goods, such as buttons, bracelets, initial goods, novelties, etc. Approx.
