kmnedw @fromlosttofound it is more beautiful and interesting in person. Unfortunately the only history is just the dates embroidered in the quilt. It is not a family heirloom. I listed at a high price because I really don’t want to get rid of it. It sits as a piece of art in my home. Too delicate to hang. There are areas where the silk pieces of fabric are coming off. I’ve been thinking about trying to restore it. But I’m working on my own quilts. Thanks for looking!

fromlosttofound @kmnedw Thanks for that! It is definitely worth keeping and using as you are. I have several family quilts and have them displayed. None are quite as fragile as this. Just awesome! It is really museum quality! That may be a way to go since it is not from your family.
