Very unique and very old wooden storage box 11" x 6" x 5"

This belonged to my great grandmother. I really don't know the story. It is probably 100 yrs old at least but I have no idea. it's very sturdy and made out of wood. It looks like brass handles and lock and I am guessing the cover is hand painted but I really have no idea. It is not in perfect condition by any means but it is still quite unique and I am sure the right person will enjoy and appreciate it.
