Very Rare Vintage 80s Feathered Dress by Tadashi Shoji

This vintage dress was made in the 80s by renowned designer Tadashi Shoji. Tadashi studied art in Japan, moved to Los Angeles in 1973 to study fashion design. He launched his own line in 1982 using stretch fabrics for evening wear while combining couture techniques. This dress accentuates the body, and features a feathered top that creates the appearance of a boa wrap. There is a slit at the bottom center back and is lined with a black rayon taffeta. Material: non-stretch velvet consisting of 100% rayon, made in USA. Aprox measurements laying flat; 15.5 in waist 18.5 in pit to pit 19.5 in hips 28 in waist down length 38 in overall length In excellent condition. Due to the rarity of this dress, price is non negotiable.
