Verna Scrimshaw Brooch Pendant red rose on bone

Beautiful scrimshaw brooch (with pendant loop) from Verna. The design is a red rose with green leaf The oval scene is framed by an HGE (heavy gold electroplated) setting done in a nautical rope style. The scrimshaw surface is 1.25 inches tall. The gold rope setting brings the overall size to just shy of 1.5 inches tall (3.8 cm) to 1 inch wide (2.5 cm). The piece is in beautiful condition with no notable wear to the scrimshaw surface or to the setting. Please see photos
