It's strung with faceted black glass beads in an alternating pattern of medium and large, and the glass has somewhat of a shiny finish making the facets give off a sparkly appearance when they catch the light. There are also black rondelle accents with clear rhinestones embedded in the sides giving an extra tough of sparkle!
