Pictures do make the Purse look darker than it is. The Leather is glossy There is a light scratch on the front but not noticeable from far away. lol. There is a picture showing the scratch. This is perfect for travel when you want to travel light. Also perfect for a night out. I could fit my phone, wallet, and keys. I loved using ot for the airport to keep passport, boarding passes, wallet and phone. Only used a few times in a smokeless home.
