This coat is so warm, my mother wore it when she was too lazy to get out her fur. It’s a lot lighter weight than fur, and that’s another reason she preferred it. That said, she didn’t go out much in these later times. You see a coat with a really unique cape feature that gives an extra layer of warmth, and it was only as I was taking it off the dress down that I noticed what the cape did—it became a hood!
