dkrose54 when I saw the name squambass I thought you must fish squam lake and live close to holderness,love that lake,many vacations there staying at squam cabins behind the Marina that are condos now I believe,eating at common man if it's still there

squambass @dkrose54 You guessed correctly! My husband is the fisherman. We love living in this area and Squam is beautiful. The Common Man in Ashland is still there along with Walter’s Basin on the water. We are peak foliage and 60’s this weekend. Perfect weekend! Hope you can make it back sometime!

dkrose54 @squambass if I remember correctly Walters basin is in the old duckpin bowling alley across from the Marina,loved the loons ,Henry's cabin ,and watching the movie ( on golden pond) that got us there in the first place,and some of the best bass fishing lakes in the northeast,
