This large dark australian opal stone is held by 14k rose and white gold, 18k yellow gold claws. It sits on an oxidized sterling silver band with 14k-24k yellow, rose and white gold embedded into it. Ring has been resized by the original jeweler, but size is unknown since I bought this in 2020. I do however know that it’s around a size 6. I have barely worn this ring which is a shame because it was a custom order taking 6+ months to find the perfect stone! It is in excellent condition with no obvious flaws. I purchased it in 2020 but took a travel break and it sat in storage for 2 of those years. It is practically new. Any marks or rough edges are possibly from wear, but most likely due to tension from the claws, or a part of the stone cutting and setting process.
