Washed with a toothbrush using vinegar, baking soda and a little dish detergent. As you can see from the photos, I placed a computer paper below to get a sense that it's "off white" color and that it's not as bright white as when I first purchased. But it's been taken under a yellow light bulb. When worn, it clearly looks white, like a gently worn white. But obviously if you LOOK at it super close like that photos you'll notice that it's not as white. Gently worn a few times and it's very comfortable.
