This season we have re-thought, re-engineered and rebuilt every little bit of the UltraRange to make it more sustainable. This includes a molded EcoCush midsole, a lightweight construction, EcoWaffle rubber outsole, and a breathable upper. The upper is designed to reduce waste in production compared to Vans’ traditional cut and sew uppers. UPPER MATERIAL: One piece knit upper made with 50% organic cotton, 36% recycled PET, 14% recycled nylon. Vans leather products support responsible manufacturing via the Leather Working Group • FOOTBED: The new EcoCush midsole is made using at least 50% biobased EVA foam partially derived from plant-based sources per ASTM D6866-16 testing standard. • OUTSOLE: The new EcoWaffle - all new rubber compound made with responsibly sourced natural rubber instead of petroleum derived synthetic rubber.
