Valentino Black Velvet Vintage 1980s Lined Maxi Skirt with Kick Train

This vintage black velvet maxi skirt by Valentino Boutique was made in the 1980s according to my internet search of the label (search "Valentino Label History"). It has a hidden zipper in the back and 2 hook and eyes at the top of the zipper. It's fully lined. It has a unique feature at the bottom center of the back where a slit might normally be. Instead of a slit, it's got pleated fabric that my husband says is a "kick train." The skirt is in excellent vintage condition. It's labeled a size 8, but that's a vintage size that may be smaller than a current-day size 8. Please review the below measurements carefully to ensure it's a good fit for you.
