@_bethmae98 Yes! If you look at European shoe conversion charts 39 is a 8-8.5. I actually tend to wear 8.5-9 and bought these boots because I know leather shoes stretch quite a bit.

@katwok12 I would recommend them for someone who is a standard 8-8.5 shoe. Like I said, I wear 8.5-9 and bought them because I know leather stretches over time but these boots were snug on me. I have a few size 39 boots but these boots are more narrow. I wore them with a thin sock and it was fine but I probably should have sized up. Hope that helps:)
