PERFECT FOR ROASTING YOUR GARLIC. Vintage Vulcania Italy skillet with lid. The skillet has glazed terracotta and the bottom has the vulcania markings, No. 14 and 19 Horsehead Vulcania Italy. The edges of the lid show minor chips of the glaze as shown and the handle end has the hole that is the hallmark of Vulcania pottery. This line is made from the volcanic soil of Tuscany making the terra cotta ideal to conduct heat and cook wonderfully. The skillet measures 6" x 2.5" x 6" (w/out handle).
