VTG Witch Mug, German Christmas Market, Aachener Weihnachtsmarkt, Hexenhof

This is a very interesting vintage coffee / tea / hot cocoa mug. It is from the German Christmas market in 2001. I am not sure what witches have to do with Christmas. Seems like it would be more of a Halloween item. It holds a bit over 6 oz comfortably. It is approx 4” tall. In good vintage condition. Clean. No chips, cracks, or crazing. From a non smoking home.
