Vintage- St. Labre 1960s Colorful Holly Berry Bell Enameled Wreath Brooch
St. Labre jewelry began in 1960 when Leo Dohn Senior and Emmett Hoffmann founded the company. It manufactured jewelry until around 1976, sadly, because their jewelry is such high quality.
This distinctive brooch is no exception to the delightful pieces that St. Labre produced. It has an overall gold plating and extrodinary detailing.
It features:
- Flashy metallic green enamled holly leaves with red metallic enamled berries
- The central focus is a golden open metal work bell with striped detailing and a metaliic red enameled stationary ringer
- The enameled pine cones might be one of my favorite parts of this piece. They are three dimensional gilt pinecones with snowy white enamled tips
- The pin has a safety clasp that does not have a full cap
- It has a raised oval cartouche signed ST. LABRE on the back
I don't know about you, but I adore this pin! Add some sparkle and delight to your holidays or for a gift for someone you love!
