Here is a very rare, foldable, black & white map edited by the esteemed MIT professor, Norman Judson Padelford. The map, which was 1 of a series of 20 maps, dates to circa 1950-1952, according to the Department of State's Office of Intelligence Research's External Research Staff. The External Research List, No. 11.1(B) was issued in April, 1953. "The External Research List series is based on the External Research staff's catalog of social sciences research on areas outside of the United States and its territories and the internal relations of those areas." This is all findable in Google Books, as well as other journals/reviews you can find online. There's only 1 other #M6 map for sale on rare map sites, in VG condition, for $1500.
This map is in fair condition. Please be sure to educate yourself on how old maps are evaluated & condition problems such as foxing, mildew, etc. I'm not a rare maps expert. Review all photos very carefully.
