VTG Pierre Bex Style Art Deco "Skyscraper" Black/Gold Brooch/Pin, 2 1/4" H

VTG Pierre Bex Style Art Deco "Skyscraper" Black/Gold Brooch/Pin, 2 1/4" H x 1 1/4" W @ base. Made in France from 1969 to end of the 80's. Striking Art Deco design "Skyscraper" in rectangular columns of the characteristic gold raised dot pattern & black enamel, w/ bold black enamel & gold raised dot triangles forming the base. Dramatic use of classic Art Deco themes of geometric rectangles & triangles. The reverse has a safety C clasp that's in good working order. Typical crosshatch pattern on metal back. While I can't definitely say this is an authentic Pierre Bex piece, I'm reasonably certain. Most jewelry made by Pierre Bex has a distinctive look created by the application of a clear coating over colored enameling as this piece has. Many of the pieces had a characteristic crosshatch pattern in the metal work on the reverse as this piece also has. The raised gold dot pattern is consistent with other pieces known to be Pierre Bex. Condition- Please see last 2 photos for condition of resin coating. There is light scuffing and scratches across the face of the brooch.
