Vintage Owl Brooch is also a vintage owl pendant. Antiqued goldtone owl brooch and pendant with olive green opaque ceramic cabochon belly is so cute. It is partially open set and has simulated pearl eyes. There is no signature on this cute little guy but we have determined through research he was produced in the late 1960s - early 1970s. He looks like a jelly belly but is actually not. The antiqued gold has such nice detailing and this owl looks even better in person (pictures do not show him in all his beauty). He can be worn as a brooch or a pendant. So versatile and sweet! Measurements: 2 inches long x 1.25 inches wide He is in nice condition. note: the cab is not a perfect dome. you will see what looks like a chip but it is an imperfection, looks to have been there during its creation. He can be found in the book 'Collectible Costume Jewelry Identification & Values' by Cherri Simonds on page 135.

dgordon8718 Very pretty. Here I go again... I see that there are some shadows on the cabochon, but the last two pictures look like there could be a chip in the stone. Please send more pictures to clarify.

resqdtreasurez @dgordon8718 hi! good eye! we looked it over even closer and it is an imperfection, a slight indent in the cab. seems like it was there during mfg. a few minor scratches also. still so cute! if interested we can adjust the price or entertain an offer. of course, no worries if he's not for you. more pics have been uploaded to clarify this indent. thank you!
