These vintage (1988) New & Lingwood (Poulsen, Skone & Co.) two-tone brown and white wingtip oxfords are a rare find and in superb condition for their vintage. The medallion toe and brogueing are in crisp condition, and the brown and white leathers shoe no sign of neglect or age-related deterioration. I am estimating the size at a US 10D (based on the fit to my foot and comparison with other shoes) as there is no indication of size.
There is substantial wear to the soles, but no thinning or holes. Insoles are marked and discolored from use, but without tears, peeling, or odor.
The uppers show very modest creasing on the outside of the toebox at ball of foot, and discoloration on white leather of toebox (sixth and fifth pictures from last). The toes and heel of both shoes show unobtrusive signs of use in the form of light scratching and scuffing (fourth and third pictures from last). The brogued edge of the tongue of the left shoe is crimped and bent from improper storage (second picture from last).
The last image shows the only other pair I was able to find for sale; the depicted shoes are contemporary and not vintage in origin; this is a once-in-a lifetime find. I have only cleaned and conditioned with Saphir products; no polishes or waxes applied.
All wear or damage is as described and pictured. Message me for more information or additional photos. (I will be measuring outsole and posting in comments later this evening.)

Hi! Nice shoes…some might have already asked you, but any chance to find out more about the size? Obviously fit is everything and it would be risky to get a pair without some form of sizing(appreciate the measurements though). You mention the crumpled tongue of one shoe…how dry is the leather? Do I see it correctly that the sole is worn down to the stitching on the front of the shoes? Sorry, this was long :) thanks

@jim54knopf absolutely I’ll give you as much information as I can gather. The soles are worn to the stitching, but they remain stable and firmly attached. The leather is not dry at all; there is no cracking or crazing.
When I return home I will do a fit test (I wear men’s 9.5 generally) and take additional pictures.

@jim54knopf as these are wholly bespoke, there is no size to be found. They are larger than a 9.5 D (US).My husband (10.5 D) was able to fit (with clean cushioned athletic socks), although he noted that the ball of foot was restrictive. This would be less evident with dress socks.

@jim54knopf I would think that they will fit a 10 D nicely, or a 10.5 C or B. I realize the risk inherent in purchasing an item custom-made for another, and would be happy to accept a return on the grounds of a poor fit (provided that the shoes are in the state which has been documented).

@eden_thrift thanks for all the info. I took some measurements on some of my dress shoes at home…combined with your feedback, I would guess they are on the narrower side, maybe C. Even with stretching the shoes that won’t fit for me :-/ Thanks so much though!
