VTG Needlepoint Purse Border Collie Velvet Back Wool Cross Body Bag w Rope Strap

Super cute wool needlepoint wallet purse with velvet exterior/cotton lining featuring a realistic border collie / cattle dog / black and white sheltie dog breed. The dog is done in tiny stitching and the background is larger diameter yarn giving the panel a raised effect. There is velvet piping around the front and back panel. It is quite striking in person. Condition: Overall excellent condition, no stains. The rope/knit strap is intact but has a little bit of fraying and pulling in some areas (see photos) as one would expect with a vintage purse. Size: 7.75" h x 6" w x 2.75 d (this purse is narrower at the top than the bottom.) Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever". Each of us has a different idea of what "beauty" is.
