VTG Navajo Sterling/Turquoise Concho Feather Earrings, RY RB Hallmark, 2 1/2" L

Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver & Oval Turquoise Cabochon Concho Feather Earrings. Measurements approx 2 1/2" L x 3/4" W, concho 1 1/4" L x 3/4" W, Turquoise stones approx. 3/8" L x 1/4" W, wt.- 12 grams. These statement earrings feature oval Turquoise stones in sawtooth bezels centered in curved oval conchos w/ delicate feather and sun ray stamp work topped by a gleaming polished portion. Each concho has two stamp work feathers swinging freely from the bottom. On reverse, each earring is stamped Sterling & a center RB w/ a RY on either side of the RB. This could be the older Running Bear RB hallmark before the bear hallmark & possible RY, a hallmark consistent w/ Richard Yazza. It's possible he made these while working at Running Bear or it may be a collaboration w/ Richard Begay as RB is also his known hallmark. One earring has a 33 scratched in it, the other a 66, possibly marks from the shop or indicating design numbers? Regardless, the silversmith did a beautiful job on these earrings! Earrings are in excellent condition given their age & use. There are not apparent chips, cracks, or scruffs to the stones. The posts are straight & have their backs & are in good working condition.
