VTG Mata Ortiz Pottery Olla Vase Lizards Geometric‎ Orange Black Signed 8" x 7"

This vintage Mata Ortiz pottery olla vase features a unique design with lizards and various southwestern geometric patterns in orange and black hand painted colors. Handmade in Mexico, this piece showcases the distinctive craftsmanship and artistic expression of Mexican culture. The vase is signed by the artist on the base and measures approximately 8 inches in height and 7 inches in diameter, adding to its collectible value as a piece of Latin American pottery art. Mata Ortiz pottery designs such as this olla are influenced by Mimbres and early Four Corners Region Mimbres Mogollon Anasazi or Freemont Cultures art. Pre owned in good condition with with some scratches and scrapes with some paint removed from mishandling by estate sale company using tape, otherwise 8/10 condition. We will use multiple layers of bubble wrap, create a cardboard shell, ship in a heavy duty double walled cardboard box centered with packing paper and lots of tape to secure and apply tension on the seams.
