These may be the coolest atomic-age glasses, in the perfect fall colors! Made by Anchorglass (which I believe was a division of Anchor Hocking) in the 1960s, this set of true vintage highball cocktail glasses feature a pattern of double-pointed, rounded shapes in vibrant orange and 22 carat gold. I've seen this shape called an "onion," referring to those that are striped gold, an "ornament," calling back to those Shiny Bright ornaments of the era, and "leaf."
This design is very hard to find, and seems to have been more common in the rocks glass size. These glasses are tall and narrow, and could be used for any drink, alcoholic or not, but are perfect for a highball or collins.
This set is in very good vintage condition overall, with 1 glass showing a bit more wear to one side, and the other 4 in the best condition with only a very small few scuffs/wear marks. Please see the collage photo for condition! These glasses have thin sides and a heavy bottom for stability - no hallmarks on the bottom.
Each glass measures: 6.875" tall, 2.875" wide at the top, and 2" across at the base. Please note!! These glasses are HANDWASH ONLY - like a lot of vintage glass and barware, the dishwasher will cause irreparable damage to the paint and gold overlay. Please handwash these with a mild dish soap and cloth.
