Ingber & Co., from New York City, with the factory in Philadelphia, was a well-known company that made handbags from the early twentieth century on into the nineteen-sixties. Ingber handbags were carried by notables from Hollywood and seen in movies. The company was at the forefront of some of the most innovative designs. Preloved in awesome condition. No rips or tears found. Leather corners show no wear on bottom and minor on top corners. A little wear shown on top piping. Small red mark along interior zipper as seen in photo. Lining in great condition. Black leather. Tulip shaped. Quilted front and back. Double strap handles with a 6.5" drop. 4 protective feet on bottom. Framed center compartment with clasp closure. 1 zipped and 1 slip pocket. 2 outer compartments. One on each side. 9" W x 7.5" H x 3.5" D
