VTG I WEH I 14K Gold Filled Cross Necklace

In used/vintage condition, this is a medium-, or matinee-length, 14K gold-filled cross necklace by Walter E. Hayward (WEH). There is no clasp on the chain, it goes right over your head. The chain appears to be a curb style. The only stamp found was on the cross itself, so I don't know if the chain is the same make-up. There were no stamps that I could see on the ring attaching the chain to the cross. My guess is that it is, but I can't say for certain. Photos capture all visible wear, so please review carefully.
